Provinical Scale-up 2024-25

Community Health Workers (CHWs) play a vital role in bridging the gap between communities and the health system, particularly in rural primary health care (PHC). In 2024, the VAPAR Community Mobilization Training was delivered across three health districts in Mpumalanga (Ehlanzeni, Gert Sibande, Nkangala) to strengthen CHW competencies in community engagement, health promotion, and service delivery.
